The Mystic Path

The Mystic Path

Silently, follow the mystic path,
Don’t be fooled by the photograph!
At first glance all looks peaceful, calm,
A wooded haven of forest charm,
But slow is the action that’s hard to see,
Of teaming life & busy bees.

Don’t feel dismay for rotting decay,
It’s useful fuel for another day,
To nourish the soil, it’s the only way,
It’s where the worms & crawlies play!
They to & fro with hardly a sound,
composting everything around!
Creeping over mossy hills,
Jumping off bluebells
& daffodils.
Find tiny toadstools in perfect round, where elfin faces gaze, spellbound,
painted see-through wings astound,
And the enchanted fairy queen is crowned!
